Beautiful diamond: More Beautiful Diamond and Jewelry Projects at BGD

Lesley and Brian, We wanted to tell you how pleased we are with the outstanding service we received, not to mention the FABULOUS Brian Gavin Select diamond. My husband was very hesitant to make such a significant purchase "on-line". Brian was so kind to take the time to talk to him and reassure him that the 2.61 F VS1 diamond I had inquired about would not disappoint. Brian did a complete work-up of the stone and explained each detail to us. When the diamond arrived I was away on business travel. Pat called me after opening the package and all he could say was "WOW, you have to see this diamond." Well, it wasn't like I could rush right home and look at it! Needless to say it was a very long 24 hours until I was able to see it. "WOW was the first word out of my mouth as well. I wanted to get back with you on what I thought about the piece…and wanted some time to live and wear it regularly before I did. In October my husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a trip to French Polynesia, we fell in love with the islands and wanted to bring home a piece of it to last forever. We shopped for the perfect black pearl and found it on Bora Bora. When we returned, I wanted to set the pearl in a unique setting that would be simple, timeless and always remind me of us. That is A LOT to live up to! I enjoyed working with Brian, discussing my ideas and likes and dislikes. I even had several co-workers get involved to help with ideas. The design we finalized was beautiful and classic – like the sun, moon, and stars all in one. In my mind it was small and delicate, very pretty. Surprise, surprise – when I received it, the piece was quite larger than I expected and I felt almost disappointed. I realized I had the idea of it in my mind for months, and it wasn't exactly that in reality. I wore the piece, hoping to get feedback from everyone who helped with the process and immediately had a lot of attention. Good attention. Great attention. Everyone said it was ME, it fit me and my personality and something smaller wouldn't show the pearl to perfection (as it does). Now that I have worn it for a couple weeks, I agree whole-heartedly. It is something I can wear everyday OR for special occasions, it always draws attention and it feels comfortable. I really, really love it. Thank you for giving me something I didn't even know I really wanted and would appreciate. Now I always have a piece of paradise. Kind of cheesy, but I wanted to truthful. Hi Lesley, I just wanted to let you know that I surprised Shaina with the bracelet/bangle last night and she LOVED it. She was so happy she was actually brought to tears. Hi Lesley, I just received the package! I haven't tried the necklace on yet, but OH MY GOODNESS! The setting is just absolutely divine! I loved the older setting, but this new one has an incredible WOW factor! It makes the diamond sparkle and dance like it's on fire! LOVE IT. Once again, you guys have taken my breath away!
